Deanne was a friend and and an inspiration. Her ability to access issues, determine paths of action and anticipate outcomes was uncanny. Her love for Tampa Bay was contagious and resulted in all the things you have read and seen demonstrated on this site. Deanne and her legacy will not be forgotten.!

Deanne got Richard Florida together with Mayor Iorio right after her election and that resulted directly in the Creative Industries job at the city and my return to my home town from Los Angeles. Once here, she was my mentor, advisor and partner in so many projects. She was also somebody who I looked forward to seeing under any and all circumstances. No matter the tension or pressure, Deanne's smile was there, looking like it was just for you. She leaves me with great memories, but also, a feeling of tremendous loss. There was so much more she had to offer. And selfishly, there were so many more of those special smiles I could have enjoyed.

Deanne taught me a great deal about PR but what I really cherish is her inspiration to live with joy and courage regardless of circumstance. I will miss my wonderful mentor and friend and will be thankful for her presence in my life always, Carolyn Eastman

Deanne was a ball of endless energy and made all of us so proud of her many accomplishments. I will miss her and what she could have still accomplished.

Viewed the stamp. It is a graphic rendering. Thee are so many stunning photographs of the Skyway done by local photographers I had hoped one of them would be used.

freedom of speech / freedom of expression i thought this was america... where men and woman have fought in blood so we can have "RIGHTS"... yet the city thinks they have the right to censor ART! graffiti is art! i dont believe in it being a crime i dont believe it devalues a community but it enriches a community... if it was legal you would see many more creative murals... instead of a grey wall on the side of the freeway... u would see colors... u would than bring the photographers who decide to take pictures of graffiti making art of there own... graffiti is a word people have been brainwashed to hate... why?

Personally, I would rather see graffiti than advertisements. I know this is not a popular opinion, but I am not the only one. Street art is art nonetheless.

Cool Story! Very interesting to see this correlation. This is also a cool story about taking the gaming energy and using it to solve problems!
