A community forum is being held to promote the local film industry and demonstrate the economic impact of film in the region and around the state. The forum begins with a VIP reception followed by two panel discussions and a networking jam. In the first session, “Dirty Little Secrets to Film Making in Florida,” state and regional film commissioners will converge to discuss the growth and impact of film in Florida and locally. In the second session, “Meet the Filmmakers,” you’ll learn about and interact with big fish in the local film talent pool. Save the date, Wednesday, April 11, 5:00-9:00 PM at the Italian Club in Ybor City. Admission $25, and $40 for VIP reception and forum. Admission includes parking, refreshments and cash bar. A Q&A segment finishes the second session which will be followed by a networking reception. Seating is limited.
