PechaKucha Tampa Bay – entertainment, creativity and inspiration on Feb. 10

PechaKucha Tampa Bay is back for some more fast-paced entertainment and inspiration, and Creative Tampa Bay is proud to support it!

Keep presentations concise, the interest level up and to have many presenters sharing their ideas within the course of one night is the premise behind the worldwide creative event. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat”, Pecha Kucha is presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds.

It was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. The rapidfire creative show-and-tell is back for some more fast-paced inspiration. Running consistently since 2009, PechaKucha Tampa Bay has been connecting and showcasing several of the bay area’s cultural leaders, inspiring artists and difference makers.
