Philanthropic Young Tampa Bay

Creative Tampa Bay is proud to support the launch of Philanthropic Young Tampa Bay (PYT), a program designed to engage local young professionals in cultural philanthropy.

Organized by T. Hampton Dohrman and Ann-Eliza Musoke-Taylor, the program creates opportunities for young professionals to become meaningful philanthropists through:

  • Developing personal attachments to the arts community through unique experiential events
  • Cultivating the next generation of community leaders and philanthropists in Tampa Bay
  • Providing public recognition for sponsors, members and contributors

By focusing on young professionals, PYT hopes to cultivate the next generation of cultural-minded community leaders.

The group’s first project benefits the Tampa Museum of Art (TMA). PYT will raise $5,000 to purchase a piece of new media art from Janet Biggs, the highly respected video artist whose work will be showcased at TMA in July, and donate the work to the Museum for its permanent collection.
