Description: The Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts is one of the nation’s premier fine art and craft festivals. The juried festival features 300 renowned and emerging artists from across the nation and internationally.
This year, artists will compete in a prominent juried show with cash awards totaling $75,000, including the desirable $15,000 Raymond James Financial Best of Show Award. Jack Becker, executive director of the Joslyn Art Museum (Omaha, NE) will be this year’s juror.
With approximately 300,000 attendees each year, the free, two-day cultural festival in downtown Tampa presents fine art, live musical entertainment, great food and hands on activities for children. Admission to the festival is free of charge and downtown parking is available.
